dePixel8 is patched in Android 7.1.1 and newer, do not ask for future support or any kind of support.

Our hack, dePixel8, is designed to make unlocking the bootloader possible on those phones. Our software works by forcefully enabling bootloader unlocking, it does not automatically unlock the bootloader. After using dePixel8, your device will reboot into bootloader mode. You then need to run the “fastboot oem unlock” command. This action will unlock the bootloader and wipe your user data.

This is for the Google Pixel/Pixel XL Only.
Running this on non-Pixel phones is pretty stupid.

DO NOT RELOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER, unless you have restored it back to 100% stock and are sure you won’t want it unlocked again.

Usage:
Step 1) Install fastboot and adb on your PC, ensure both are working with your Pixel. We will not supply directions nor support for this; you can find many guides online that will help you on this step.

Step 2) Run “adb push dePixel8 /data/local/tmp”, “adb shell chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/dePixel8” and finally run the program “adb shell /data/local/tmp/dePixel8”

Step 3) Wait for the phone to reboot to the bootloader. If it is not rebooting you can try to run various apps until it does, or you may have to reboot and start over.

Step 4) Issue the command “fastboot oem unlock”, this will open up the unlock prompt and warning on the screen. You can now unlock. If you get an error, about unlocking not being allowed, start all over.

SunShine is our bootloader unlock/s-off tool for Motorola and HTC phones. We currently support most HTC phones, and Droid Turbo, Moto X (2014), Moto X (2013), MotoG (2013) and Droid Maxx/Mini/Ultra on Android 4.4.3 and lower. All modern HTC devices (m9 m7 m8 e8 Mini2 remix dna etc) devices are supported up to 7.1.1, as long as they are rootable. SunShine can work without pre-rooting all 4.4.3 and below devices, and some 4.4.4 and 5.x devices. Some 5.0 and above users will have to root with HTCDev.com.
